Poker Lexicon  - Poker Terms Beginning With 'Y'

 

 

Yard - $100; a $100 bill.

 

Yeast - To raise.

 

Younger hand - An archaic term for any player to the left of the eldest hand.

 

Youngest hand - An archaic term for the player immediately to the right of the dealer.

 

Y.B.A. - You’ll Be Alright, an expression meaning that if you keep playing that way you’ll be ok. NOT! meaning you certainly will not end up ok.
